Booking Policy

  • Analyzer: Please make your appointment 2-3 days in advance. If you call on the same day of your experiment, we cannot guarantee the availability of the instrument.
  • Cell sorting: Please read the information on this website for planning your cell sorting. Please make your appointment one week in advance. Biosafety Assessment Form needs to be filled out and submitted prior to the sort.
  • PLEASE SHOW UP ON TIME. You should give at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel an appointment
  • New users need to fill out the User Registration Form and submit the form before/on the first appointment.
  • Training: The facility provides training in Gallios Cytometer, CytoFlex cytometer and Confocal Microscope. Please contact us for training schedule and availability.

Data Storage and Transfer:

  • All raw data acquired on our flow cytometers will be kept on our storage database for 1 year. Users are required to store their own copies of their data. Please bring your own mass storage devices (e.g. flash drives) or empty CD-R to transfer raw data and PDF flowpage files.

Costs

  • Gallios: Charges are accrued in 15 minutes increments with a minimum charge of 15 minutes.
  • MoFlo Astrios EQ Cell Sorter: Charges are accrued in 15 minutes increments with a minimum charge of 1 hour for cell sorting.  (A 15 minute grace period from your scheduled sort time will be allowed for all scheduled sorts. Any time past the 15 minute grace period, users will be charged at the normal sort rate.)
